The #1 goal is gym confidence. Be yourself - walk into ANY gym and own it.
Whether you're on a mission to get fit or stay fit - you don't have to do it alone. Belong to a fitness community that is strong, supportive, and has a whole lot of fun getting to these fit goals.
TIFFTraining is not all about fitness. We’re more about the bi-product of ‘committing to your fit’. This means facing your fears; exercising consistently; and pushing both your mental and physical limits in a safe, fun, supportive atmosphere to catapult the emergence of a new you – Transformed, Inspired, Fearless and Fabulous.
Here’s the thing - REAL results, require REAL work. Through personal weight-loss experience and continued education, we employ everything in our arsenal to get you the results you want, and ensure you maintain them. Accredited through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) – the gold standard in personal training certifications – TIFFTraining fitness programs are developed using NASM's Optimum Performance Training (OPT™) model, incorporating various phases of stabilization, strength and power training modalities designed to reduce body fat, increased lean muscle mass, improve athletic performance and your health overall.
MEET THE CLIENTS
MEET THE OWNER
TIFFTraining exists out of need: the need for more diverse representation within the fitness community and the industry overall.
Studies show African American adults (56.6% of which are women) are nearly 1.5 times as likely to be obese compared with White adults. Simply, we want to impact our communities and be a resource for all women–especially for women of color. We believe in a fitness community where everyone feels included and welcome.
TIFFTraining was founded for all the women like me: the 'before' fitness TIFF, the 'after' fitness TIFF, and every girl in between. Those of you that used to be in shape, and somehow lost it along the way or the woman that wants to develop lean muscle or lose weight, but doesn't know where to start. Or maybe the girl that works out, but has stopped getting results, is tired of the same old routine and is ready to step her up fitness. I know how you feel.
I grew up a dancer and a cheerleader. Without realizing it at the time, letting those things go left a big hole in my soul. I had lost my outlet: my ability to tune the world out and tune into my body. I tried to fill it with a good time, but INSTEAD struggled with depression and alcoholism, leading to weight gain and a lot of unhappiness.
I've been sober and in shape for 8 years. The gym restored me back to the real me. A much better me ACTUALLY. I made mistakes, but somehow managed to figure out my fit on my own. I founded TIFFTraining so you don't have to (not to mention...I love to lift!).
